In January, 2026, the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows expanded its commitment to supporting youth and families with the opening of the Bright Futures Wellness Center at our Pennington Clubhouse.
This dedicated space provides accessible mental health and wellness services for our members, families, parents, and staff—ensuring support is available when it’s needed most.
Services Available
- Individual therapy
- Family counseling
- Group therapy sessions
- Nursing services
Specialized support is also available for individuals and families impacted by crime through our VOCA (Victims of Crime Act) clinic.
A Space Designed for Healing
Located upstairs at the Pennington Clubhouse in Reno, the Bright Futures Wellness Center includes:
- A calming decompression room
- Private counseling and clinical spaces
- A group therapy room
- An art and resource room
- A welcoming lobby for families and visitors
Every element of the space was thoughtfully designed to create a safe, supportive environment where individuals can process, heal, and grow.
